Tim Rye - Senior Consulting Specialist & Partner
Tim has made many connections in the elevator world in his 25+ years in the industry. Tim is known around the industry as a fair consultant who works to facilitate the best outcome for all parties involved. There are very few elevator consultants who have as much hands-on experience as Tim does. Tim earned his knowledge of the elevator industry from working his way up through the ranks. In the last 20+ years, Tim worked his way from being an IUEC local 10 helper to a temporary mechanic (after only 2 short years as a helper), on to mechanic, a mechanic in charge, all the way to an adjuster. Then he was offered a superintendent position in the office of one of the major elevator companies in the DC area, a challenge he took on and mastered. Tim was not only a superintendent, but he also knew what it took to take an elevator from kick-off to final inspection. It gave him an edge when dealing with elevator techs in the field. They respected him as one of their own. They rarely challenged Tim when it came to means and methods. After a few years of the superintendent's life, Tim wanted to make a move to Sunny, Florida. Tim put feelers out all across the state of Florida. The job offers started rolling in. Tim was pleased to find a position that would let him grow and learn even more about the industry. But Tim was not ready to stop there. Tim still wanted to learn more. That is when he was offered a chance to become an elevator consultant. Tim has worked with consultants since the early days of his career. He always prided himself in having some of the shortest punch lists when a consultant reviewed his jobs. Tim is always looking for elevator companies with mechanics, like himself, who take pride in their work and turn over a superior product for the customers. In our opinion, this is what makes Tim the best elevator consultant. He has worked in all aspects of the elevator trade and excelled with every challenge. This new consultant position with RES is a little different; here at RES, Tim will be molding the Consulting Division after his own work ethic and fair practices that he is known for having around the industry. With Tim's direct attitude, integrity, and leadership ability, we at RES know he will make our Elevator Consulting Division the best in the business.

Gage Essman - Director of Sales & Partner
Gage joined the RES consulting team in March of 2022 following seven years with one of the major elevator companies. Gage was born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. After graduating with honors from Florida State University in 2015 with a degree in Finance, Gage started his career in the elevator industry as a sales trainee in Orlando, and quickly worked his way into a sales and account management role in the Tampa market. Within a year and a half, Gage worked his way into the senior sales role for the Tampa Branch, handling its highest profile clients, and providing service, repair, modernization, and new construction sales and account management services. After consecutive years of achieving the highest awards for sales achievements in the southern region, Gage was offered an opportunity in general management where we was responsible for the P&L of the Southwest Florida market, including approximately 60 employees. After proven success in management, Gage was promoted as a Senior General Manager for the West coast of Florida and a team of approximately 120 combined mechanics, superintendents, and sales staff. Despite the challenging profit objectives, Gage always put his customers first, and was awarded the customer advocate award for his relentless focus on customer centricity. Gage brings that same focus to our team now as a director of sales and partner in RES. His knowledge of the sales and profit management of the elevator companies provides us with additional tools we can leverage to ensure our customers are receiving the best care and value from their service providers. He understands how to hold the elevator companies accountable to achieve the best outcome for all parties involved, and he is excited to work on your behalf and best Interests.
